Location: Covington,LA, USA
Manage day-to-day operations of Dr.Xuebin Qin's laboratories. Process and manage all aspects of the research projects conducted in the laboratory of Dr Xuebin Qin. Schedules research experiments, maintains inventory, purchase supplies and reagents for laboratories. Plan and maintain various records for multiple projects and tasks. Maintain the lab according to biosafety and environmental safety regulations and rules.
* Knowledge of BSL-2 and preferably BSL-3 compliance and standard operating procedures.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Familiarity with basic computational tools such as Microsoft Excel/Word etc.
* Ability to work independently and as a team player.
* Rigorous and reliable performance of laboratory techniques with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Good record keeping skills
* Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as and when the need arises.
* Bachelor of Science degree
* A minimum of 2 years research experience in a relevant field (or area).
* Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field.
* Ability to order reagents, keep laboratory records, prepare laboratory stocks.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
