Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Location: VA Northern California Health Care System
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
Duties:
- Oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise phlebotomists and other laboratory staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and processing.
- Manage laboratory inventory and supplies.
- Coordinate staff schedules and maintain timekeeping records.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree in laboratory sciences or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Certification: Appropriate state and/or national certification.
