Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for our facility to join our Laboratory team. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:
* You will be responsible for day to day supervision of staff and reporting of test results.
* You will be responsible for performing, monitoring and reviewing quality assurance/control on diagnostic testing and for initiating appropriate corrective action on exceptions.
* You will monitor all reports for accuracy and appropriate documentation of abnormal/critical values.
* You will assist with documenting and evaluating performance of MTs, MLTs, Phlebotomists and Clerical personnel.
What qualification you will need:
* Bachelor degree in Medical Technology is required.
* MT or CLS (ASCP) or equivalent is required.
* Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
