Job Description:

Ampcera is a US-based innovator and global leader in the development and characterization of solid electrolyte materials for next-generation solid-state batteries. Ampcera has a growing IP portfolio of high-performance engineered solid electrolyte materials, revolutionary scalable manufacturing processes, and novel designs for solid-state batteries.

Ampcera is seeking a Lab Technician to support the Battery Technology team.

Responsibilities

- Support Battery Technology team with battery electrode manufacturing, cell making, cell cleaning/disposal.

- Assist in overall lab maintenance including equipment and safety.

Requirements

- High school graduate or equivalent.

- Must be detail-oriented.

- Capable of executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.

- Meticulous, organized, and self-motivated.

- Clear communication skills.

- Acute safety awareness.

- Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification or associate degree in STEM related field.

- Previous experience in battery R&D facilities.

- Experience in working around and inside gloveboxes.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. with the assistance of lift equipment or cart.

- Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, masks, respirators, etc.
