- Approve incoming critical raw materials for production, retain COAs, and maintain associated records.
- Test in-process materials, providing technical guidance to operators.
- Ensure finished product quality and conformity to specifications prior to customer shipment.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, manage supplies inventory, and provide formulations.
- Create and retain batch reports and samples for liquid and powder batches.
- Utilize SPC for product analysis and equipment calibration, perform trend analysis, and develop experiments for optimization.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Process and GMP initiatives, input data into Enterprise One (E1) database, and communicate effectively with other shifts.
- Manage production demands, assist with customer samples, and learn equipment operation and liquid caramel color production processes.
- Operate filters, maintain cook sheets, operate mass meters and control panels, and ensure sanitation and maintenance of production area.
- Perform preventive maintenance and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in process-related field.
- Strong math skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Team-oriented with decision-making ability, word processing proficiency, and production/lab experience.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
