W2 assignment - 4 Month assignment to start

PART TIME HOURS

Monday - Friday

Description

  • Work within a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists to deliver on agreed milestones for new product development, early phase evaluations and legacy products.
  • Perform FTIR and SEM analyses on samples, including helping train lab personnel on instrument.
  • Work with minimal supervision from Scientists and Manager.
  • Ensure reports are signed and sent out in a timely fashion.
  • Check that lab SDS's and chemicals are recorded and tracked internally.
  • Track SVHCs and order standards of identified SVHCs to confirm identification by submitting standards to lab for testing. 40
  • Comply with the laboratory management practices set-up by the laboratory manager including S&N global health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Work within the framework of international standards (e.g. ISO 10993 and ISO 17025) and ensure compliance.
  • Assist laboratory team to create and update work instructions for safe and effective use of equipment in the laboratory.
  • Operate FTIR and SEM, gain hands-on experience on other techniques such as HPLC when time allows. 40
  • Perform administrative functions as necessary (reporting, routing for docusign, filing of reports).
  • Making presentations to group. 20

Requirements:

Education High School Diploma

Competencies:

  • Must have good team and communication skills
  • Must have good time management skills and be able to perform well under pressure.
  • Should be able to work under minimal supervision once trained.
