4-6 months, Contract to hire.Applicants must be flexible with shifts.Training will be conducted on day shifts, Monday - Friday.Must be able to work weekends as needed.Pay rate $24.00 per hour.Responsibilities:
- Prepare & purify DNA samples for sequencing
- Operate & maintain next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms
- Perform PCR amplification for research & clinical projects
- Analyze sequencing data using bionformatics tools
- Ensure sequencing run quality & troubleshoot issues
- Document procedures & results accurately for audits & reports
- Calibrate & maintain sequencing instruments & equipment
- Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to support drug discovery projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in biology, biochemistry
- Any industry experience would be a plus, lab experience through school coursework is acceptable
- Basic understanding of hands-on biology experiments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and time management skills
