Job Description
- Performs sensory, physical, and chemical tests on finished products to ensure they meet established specifications.
- Evaluate Bill of Material (BOM) for completeness and proper documentation.
- Records test data and maintain laboratory work list in LIMS system to ensure timely release of finished products.
- Reports nonconformance with immediate corrective actions in the LIMS system.
- Performs required inspection for manufacturing equipment, storage equipment, and sanitation cleaning.
- Participates in check sample program with the outside institution(s) and in internal proficiency program to verify accuracy.
- Assists with Raw Material testing, COA review, and COA filing.
- Inspect Finished Product Packaging to ensure label and configurations are correct.
- Approve and apply the final wrap with automated equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related.
- 6 months of laboratory experience from industry or academia.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate with individuals in a small group setting.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
