Job Description:

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with chemicals and handle very thin layers in the low micrometer range.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with SOFC technology or related fuel cell systems preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to fuel cell components.
  • Making of various slurries.
  • Chemical synthesis of cathode and anode materials.
  • Tape casting of very thin layers.
  • Assembly or lamination of very thin layers.
  • Electrochemical testing of fuel cells.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with senior personnel to implement improvements and upgrades.
  • Document all maintenance activities and report findings.
  • Assist in the development of operational protocols and safety procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members.
