Title: Lab Tech I/II
Length of Contract: 6 months with extension based on performance and business needs
Location: Waco, TX 76712
Job Description:
- Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
- Some data interpretation required. Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application.
- Should have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.
- Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter). Should exhibit good problem-solving skills.
- Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.
Top skills/requirements:
- Basic HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting
- Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower)
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or biochemistry or associates degree
- Attention to detail.
- Well organized
