The Laborer/Driver position will work with our maintenance team to assemble and repair industrial equipment.Responsibilities:
- Assist senior mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and machinery
- Perform maintenance tasks; pump repair, lubrication, belt adjustments, filter and hydraulic hose replacements, etc.
- Learn to operate and maintain various equipment, such as pumps, HDPE fusion equipment, etc.
- Inspect machinery for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Use forklift to load/unload trucks
- Occasional delivery to local customers and mines
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Attention to detail and methodical problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn
- Valid Driver's License
