**Laborer**

**Machining - New Castle, PA - Full Time**

**Superior Forge & Steel Corporation** is currently hiring **Laborers** for our operation in New Castle, PA. The Laborer is a member of our team responsible for providing general and/or materiallabor skills in support of production, maintenance, and administration needs. Promotions into other higher paying hourly positions are chosen from the General Laborer pool. Competitive: starting wage of $16.50 pr hr, incentive production bonus program, benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, Paid Time Off (PTO), Additional Paid Relief Days, and $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS. ***Key responsibilities:***

* Assist machine operators loading and unloading machine

* Check machine line-ups at the start of each shift and bring rolls to machines if needed

* Load and unload trucks

* Shovel turnings from machines and place in appropriate containers

* General housekeeping

* Fill out receiving reports and daily production sheets

* Wrap and box roll when a list is put out

* Maintain a neat and orderly scrap yard

* Load and unload annealing furnace and vent rolls as needed

* Learn different roll conditions and proper flow throughout the shop

* Learn the proper use of straps and cables

***Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:***

* Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs

* Exposed to seasonal temperature changes

* Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration

***Qualifications:***

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

* Strong attention to detail

* Have the ability to learn proper use of overhead cranes

* Must be available to work all shifts on a rotating schedule

**Must be able to pass criminal background check, physical, and drug screen**
