Job DetailsJob Location Olathe - Olathe, CO Position Type Full Time Salary Range $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly Description A laborer does physical labor at the retail stores and/or quarry locations. They may prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. A laborer may also run some types of equipment such as a front-end loader or truck. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sand / Gravel pit location: shoveling; watching plant machinery (such as belts, rollers, springs, bearings, etc.) for malfunction and helping with repairs; lifting heavy parts; washing plant area daily; draining pumps and plant in cold weather.
  • Excavating laborer: operating compactors, plate tampers, jumping jacks, shoveling, raking, cutting and placing pipe; may require helping check grades for excavators and leveling soil to grade
  • Typical working conditions: frequent exposure to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, cold, noise, and other conditions common to pits and commercial / residential construction sites.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma
  • Background in construction, landscaping a plus
  • Must be 18 years of age
