Position Title: Laborer – Natural Gas Our Core Values: Guided by Safety. Focused on Communities. Powered by Care. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Riley Brothers, LLC is seeking full-time Natural Gas Laborer. Experience preferred, but not necessary! On-the-job training provided. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist crew leader and supporting team members on site.
- Able to drive commercial vehicles equipped to transport a variety of materials and equipment.
- Accurately complete daily forms.
- Ensures the vehicles have current licenses, tags, permits, and proof of insurance.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Work with tools/equipment such as jackhammers, compactors, shovels, rakes, etc.
- Locating existing utilities by digging with shovel.
- Set up and break down of work zone and Traffic Control
- Obtain and maintain qualifications through company provided program.
Success Factors:
- Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling
- Strong Attention to detail to work efficiently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
- Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
- Willingness and ability to learn additional skills
Experience and Education:
- Prior Laboring experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of a valid State of Residence Driver's License is required.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
