**Announcement Number** mwr_015-2021 **Department** Community Recreation **Location** Texas **Position Status** Regular, Full Time **Salary** $10.13 - $11.82 Hourly * Knowledge of safe and efficient operating techniques of various large equipment and power tools: (Operates a variety of power equipment to include, but not limited to: posthole diggers, blowers, weed eaters, power washers, mowers, box trucks with lift gate, etc.)
* Ability to operate and control riding mowers on slopes which requires constant attention to working space and environment.
* Ability to safely operate equipment around buildings, walls, trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides, trenches, curbs, rocks and other visible obstacles.
* Ability to operate various controls and levers to maneuver equipment and lift/lower, adjust, engage/disengage components or attached devices.
* Knowledge and skill using hand tools and other equipment such as: shovels, rakes, hammers, bars, saws, axes, loppers, wrenches, brushes, brooms, ladders, banding equipment, and pallet jacks.
* Ability to complete assignments involving several tasks by following detailed processes which require remembering directions, sequences, following simple drawings, etc.
* Ability to follow general instructions or read simple drawings to perform tasks requiring significant manual skill.

* Proof of education (transcripts/copy of degree/high school diploma), if applicable to position requirements.
