The General Laborer role provides as needed assistance to the crew of a vessel. This includes but is not limited to:
- Manually lifting and carrying loads to and from boats and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling and stretching.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy working environment ensuring discarded packaging and other debris are cleared away.
- Transport products, supplies and mechanical equipment to various areas of the yard including the warehouse and tool rooms.
- Cleaning out tanks on boats.
- Manually handling of steel.
- Loading and unloading of various materials.
- Providing assistance to the hull foreman as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule is Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 6:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Eligible for full benefit package (Health, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability) after 90 days of employment.
