Material Handler/Laborer (Entry Level Position)
Role Purpose: This position is an entry level position. Position provides support to the manufacturing operations in a variety of tasks. Great benefits and production bonus plan as well!
Core Accountabilities:
Provide support to operations.
Roll and straighten bars.
Band and hook bars for movement through operation.
Operation of a spotting tractor.
Monitor production to ensure material sequence is kept and product is packaged properly and in correct quantities for shipment.
Assists with other items as needed.
Competencies and Qualifications:
High school or equivalent degree (GED).
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and orders.
Ability to use various tools, including but not limited to hand tools, bander, hook, etc.
Working knowledge of various mill equipment is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision.
Ability to work safely.
Must be able to complete pre-employment screenings.
Pay:
Base pay @ $18.96/hour (1st two weeks) then base @ $19.96/hour
