POSITION TITLE: Laborer DEPARTMENT: Equipment & YardLOCATION: Niagara Falls, New YorkSALARY RANGE: $18 to $20 per hourJOB NUMBER: 2024-6140-01DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Laborer based at our Niagara Falls, New York equipment yard and maintenance shop using power washing for industrial cleaning of vehicles, heavy construction equipment, etc. The daily work will include:•Heavy lifting (40-50 lbs.)•Sweeping, general clean up•Cleaning of vehicles and heavy construction equipment•Sandblasting•Large variety of labor related activitiesSKILLS/EXPERIENCE:•Previous power washing experience preferred•Must be familiar with the hazards of power washing•Ability to work on call when needed•Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs., repeatedly•Ability to follow verbal and written instructions•Have the ability to stay 100 percent focused at all times while performing job requirements•Must have a valid NYS driver's licenseSALARY/BENEFITS:An employee's salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
