SpecPro Environmental Services LLC (SES), a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC, is seeking a Medical Construction Laborer to play a crucial role in a safe and efficient construction site. Responsibilities: • Daily cleaning of hallways, corridors, and exam rooms due to the work being executed inside a working clinic. There will be occasions working hours will change temporarily to accommodate cleaning behind the trades so that the clinic can continue to see patients. • Ensuring that all ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) barriers are in conformance with the requirements of the Clinic and are maintained and repaired on a daily basis. • Ensure that work areas are clean, safe, and ready for construction activities. By removing debris, hazards, and obstacles to create a suitable environment. • Handle tools, raw materials, and equipment. • Load and unload items as needed for construction tasks. • Digging, Compacting Earth, and Backfilling Holes by performing manual labor, including mowing grass, and weed trimming, digging trenches, filling pits, compacting soil, and backfilling excavated areas. • Operate construction off-road vehicles • Follow safety protocols while using the equipment. • Laborers take direction from supervisors and follow construction plans. • Assist heavy equipment operators and other skilled workers. • Willingness to learn from more experienced craft to become more proficient and knowledgeable. • Assists in creating a positive and safe work environment. • Be coachable and learn from team members. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver's license with “REAL ID” and/or CDL B a plus! • Demonstrate the ability to finish tasks safely, accurately, and promptly. • Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and how to use them safely and correctly. • Basic construction experience. • Ability to solve problems. • Basic carpentry skills. • Able to relay and receive information from field management needed for the current project/task. • Strong work ethic. • Good attitude and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Willingness to learn. • Demonstrate the ability to stay on task efficiently, safely, and flexibly. • Not afraid to work physically through elements and adverse situations without losing focus. • Complete assigned training in a timely fashion. Additional Requirements: As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post-accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunities to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
