A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LABORER As a Laborer, you play a critical role in helping us successfully complete infrastructure projects, including roadwork, highways, bridges, airports, and site work. You are contributing in a variety of construction project work involving paving, excavation, curbing, and trenching. Using your physical strength, you perform manual work and utilize various equipment including hand and power tools. Day-to-day responsibilities may include patching asphalt, pouring and shaping sidewalks, operating compactors, raking, shoveling, and site maintenance. In addition to the average construction responsibilities, you prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public.
