Kraemer North America (Kraemer) is currently searching for experienced Laborers to work on our Floyd Hill project near Idaho Springs, CO. The Laborers will provide support and assistance to other skilled craft positions working on the project and will be expected to complete all duties in a safe manner that meets the quality standards of Kraemer North America. Main responsibilities include running a jumping jack, shoveling, rigging up pipe and inlets, shooting grade, working around heavy equipment, using hand signals and setting up a pipe laser. Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with Kraemer Safety and Quality Programs by working safely
- Lift, carry, and hold building material, tools, and other supplies as needed
- Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas
- Knowledge of and ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Repetitive use of hands and wrists with various tools, including fine motor movements and manipulations
- Have some knowledge of applicable safety precautions and minor first aid
- Ability to communicate, understand, follow and transmit instructions or safety related precautions
- Ability to work at various heights utilizing appropriate PPE
- Walking on uneven ground; exposure to cold/hot temperatures, and dusty or dirty/greasy surroundings
Qualifications:
- Previous laborer experience working in highway/heavy construction (preferably bridge experience)
- RCP pipe installation experience preferred
- Proven ability to perform work in a safe manner
Benefits: Union employees subject to collective bargaining agreements have benefit coverage provided to them under the provisions of their respective agreements. Hiring Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
