About the positionPosition/Specialty: CT TechThe Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physicianShift: Friday-Sunday 6p-6:30aIs on-call REQ? Yes – call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6aWill this traveler float between service lines? NoFloating Req to Sister Facilities: NoRequired/PreferredYears of experience REQ: 1 yearFirst-timers accepted: YesNational Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS also required.Minimum Training and Education: Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation.Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of startRadiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelersEquipment Experience Preferred: Philips, Toshiba
