Project Manager, Solar Development I Upstate NY I $110 - 130,000 + Bonus

Are you an experienced Project Manager with experience with zoning, permitting, and developing projects in upstate NY?

Are you experienced in managing multiple projects at once and navigating the NY DEC, zoning permit processes, and timelines?

The role:

As Project Manager, Solar Development you will pick up a number of community solar projects, guiding them from late-stage origination through to pre-construction. You will manage often tight timelines whilst coordinating with and assisting several different departments such as interconnection, legal, engineering, and environmental.

What you will need:

• 2+ years experience leading the development of projects in upstate NY
• Regional knowledge is key - understanding of NY DEC, zoning incentives, timelines and efficiencies to get permits approved
• Need to be local to NY sites as they could be on-site twice a week
• Must be able to lead multiple projects, problem solve and actively seek out direction or suggestions if needed
• Comfortable working autonomously and happy taking ownership of projects
• Solar industry experience is not essential but will be highly preferred
