The right candidate will manage all activities related to operations of the Land Department by performing specific duties or through subordinate supervisors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Create and implement an updated pipeline tracking/communication plan to track deals/projects from Land Acquisition to Final PlatImplement training of Entitlement Analysts, Land Acquisitioners and other land support staffResponsible for managing land books, LOI and PSA narratives, tracking dates for land acquisitions and marketing summariesEstablish clear roles for the land acquisition support team and protocols for how the Land Acquisitioners are utilizing those positionsTrack inventory caps and how it relates to the deals the acquisition team is presenting, identify potential OBS deals up front and assist with OBS transactionsCreate a better understanding of the business plan and what the division's acquisition needs are to allow the team to be more focused on evaluating the best deals for the divisionCreate more focused targets and searches for GIS Technician based on the division's needs, providing some initial feedback to assist in focusing leads to business plan, providing better leads to the acquisition teamTrack PSA terms and items throughout the lifetime of the projectImplement an acquisition and entitlement hand off meeting to make sure everyone involved understands the deal and any unusual items Provide input on process and procedures as it relates to the Acquisition, Land Development, and Entitlements DepartmentsConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnightSupervisory Responsibilities Supervises 2 or more employeesQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityFive to seven years of related experience and/or trainingMust have a vehicle and a valid driver's licenseAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionThe noise level is generally moderatePreferred QualificationsStrong communication skillsAbility to multi-task and attention to detailCome join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
