Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPopli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a full-time Professional Land Surveyor for our Penfield, NY office. This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying and will primarily be an office role assisting / mentoring with field work as needed. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Mentoring staff
- Managing field crew's schedule
- Prepping scope documents and other information for field crews
- Assisting with project management / project estimating
- Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)
Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed Land Surveyor required
- 8+ years' experience with Engineering/Land Survey Firm
- Must have in-depth experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
- Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
- Experience with sUAS, a plus
- Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus
- The candidate must work well in a team environment
