Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes, including court appearances, mediations, and administrative hearings.
- Draft and review legal documents, including leases, notices, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and provide counsel on New York landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
- Negotiate settlements between landlords and tenants when applicable.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address their legal concerns.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
