We are seeking a Landscape Architect to join our proactive team of ethical, talented, passionate professionals and leaders at our Kentwood, Michigan Office.POSITION SUMMARYROWE is currently looking for a Landscape Architect to join our team. Landscape Architects work on teams with Project Managers, working in a group environment on a diverse range of projects, providing creative leadership to a wide range of staff with varied experience. This position will play a big role in growing our Design Services Division team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and managing projects including parks, streetscapes, public spaces, and site plan preparation for retail, residential or office developments.
  • Providing presentation-quality graphics for project marketing and presentations.
  • Developing construction documents, including planting plans, soil erosion and sedimentation control documents and permits.
  • Providing site observation during construction.
  • Managing staff, budgets, and schedules.
  • Maintaining and building client relationships.
JOB REQUIREMENTSWe are seeking forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture and a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Michigan Professional Landscape Architect License along with LEED accreditation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Sketch-up, M-color, and Microsoft products is preferred.
  • Experience with MDNR, MNRTF and Passport grant applications, MEDC, and TAP grant programs.
  • Must have experience with project management, design, and planned production.
  • Must have experience with community projects and municipal/district/development authorities, with a focus on urban spaces and recreational facilities.
  • Experience in relationship development and proposal preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities, and ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Ability to work remote and in person effectively.
