We are a leading landscaping company looking for a motivated and experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of a 2-3 man crew in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the work of a small crew of landscape professionals
* Plan and organize construction projects
* Ensure the quality of all work performed by the construction crew, including the installation of landscapes, hardscapes, and other related features
* Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and company policies
* Document materials and man hours
* Do construction tasks including paver & stonework, grading, retaining walls, and planting
* Seasonal snow and ice removal, when needed
* Implement and maintain various landscape projects including planting, pruning, mulching, and installing garden features
* Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment and vehicles
Requirements:
* Ability to work in varying weather conditions
* 3-5 years' experience in landscape construction
* Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Ability to motivate and lead a team to reach their full potential
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Blueprint reading beneficial
* Prioritize industry safety standards
* Lift 50-75 pounds on a routine basis
* Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
* Class C divers license preferred
