This role reports directly to the Field Management Staff and will be responsible for providing safe, dependable and reliable transportation to the members of landscape crews to various locations within a 50-mile radius of the Charlotte, NC area. This position is also responsible for performing landscape and hardscape installation.This position is expected to work shifts from Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays beginning at 630am.Job Responsibilities
- Prepare trucks for day by loading gas cans, mowers and other equipment onto trucks/trailers ensuring all equipment is secured and all issued personal protective equipment is maintained and correctly used
- Perform maintenance on equipment including unloading equipment from trucks/trailers, washing equipment and trucks and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained according to the company's maintenance schedule
- Complete landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, trimming, pruning and leaf removal
- Complete landscape enhancement projects such as mulch/pine needle installs, planting, seeding
- Complete hardscape projects such as the laying of stone, pavers, concrete, installation of outdoor fireplaces and kitchens, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment
- Safely operate a variety of mechanical equipment
- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify any problems or defects

- Perform physical activities such as lifting, stooping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, crouching, and reaching
- Perform light to very heavy work exerting from 20 pounds of force to 100 pounds of force to move objects
- Subject to outdoor inclement weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
- Subject to periods of loud noise levels

Education/Experience/Skills
- High School Graduate/GED Program Completion
- Per applicable regulations, no one under the age of 21 will be considered.
- Working knowledge of standard landscape/hardscape practices.
- A minimum of six months of landscaping experience is preferred.
- Previous crew transportation experience is a plus.
- Must have a valid NC driver's license. No CDL is required.
