As a multi-discipline firm, Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.We are looking for a talented Landscape Designer to become an integral part of our growing landscape architecture team. Isett works on a wide range of project types including parks, master plans, trails, streetscapes, and commercial and institutional developments. We are dedicated to building lasting client relationships, guiding projects from concept development through design, construction, and final implementation. This position offers a diverse and engaging range of experiences, providing opportunities to contribute to projects at every stage. - Develop detailed designs and planting plans.
- Prepare project drawings, details, and specifications.
- Write clear and concise thoughts on design concepts and ideas.
- Handle multiple projects at one time.
- Prepare high level graphics and illustration boards for presentations.
Requirements
- Candidates shall have 1+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture field;
- Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture.
- Plant knowledge and identification.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Use of Hydraflow/SWMM, Formit-Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, GIS, Sketch-up, and others a plus, but not required;
- Comprehension and experience with grading and stormwater management;
- Ability to efficiently prepare 2-D and 3-D renderings.
- Understanding of design development and construction document preparation;
- Experience preparing graphics for presentations;
- Excellent writing skills and experience with grant writing, a plus;
- Self-starter and motivated individual yet able to collaborate with a team;
- Possess a high level of professionalism; and,
- Ability to meet deadlines yet keen attention to detail.
