OverviewSalary: $17-20/hr depending on experienceSchedule: Full-time M-F 7am-4pmPrimatara is a private estate and horse farm. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of landscape experience, be able to lead a small crew, have good time management skills, and can communicate effectively. This opportunity comes with one of the best benefits packages in the region including health insurance, 401k w/employer matching, vacation and sick time, and on-site perks.Responsibilities* Daily upkeep and maintenance of the grounds* Lead and delegate tasks to a small crew* Perform landscape maintenance duties including:* Scout pest and disease issues, irrigation issues and other concerns in the landscape* Gas powered equipment use required, backpack blower, line trimmer, mower, tiller, etcQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Any combination of education, training and experience providing the following knowledge, skills and abilities:KnowledgeSome landscape maintenance experience required including working knowledge of gas powered equipment and seasonal landscape schedules.AbilitiesMust have a strong work history. The work can be repetitive and physically demanding. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team environment.Experience, Education, and TrainingHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical RequirementsThis position requires constant standing, walking, forward reaching, pedal control and grasping; frequent head turning, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, handling, climbing and reaching. Candidate must be able to lift and carry 75lbs and also push and pull a push mower seasonally.Working EnvironmentOutdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, temperatures and chemical odors.Licensing/CertificationMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work. Must be willing to obtain pesticide applicators license.Miscellaneous RequirementsCandidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
