Position Title: Landscaping Student Assistant

Supervisor's Title: Curtis Layne - Director of Campus Grounds

Session: Academic

Average hours per week: Up to 10 hours

Job Purpose:

To assist the Physical Plant staff in carrying out their duties.

Environmental Services

* Paints

* Empty trash

* Cleans stairwells

* Recycles

* Vacuums

* Washes windows

* Assist with equipment and supply delivery

Warehouse:

* Vehicles (cleans/services/takes to shop/refuels)

* Issues parts

* Puts up stock

* Cleans out the shops

Grounds:

* Mowing

* Pulls weeds

* Rakes

Maintenance:

* Picks up parts

* Smoke detector batteries

* Lights

* Filters

* Assists in multiple tasks

Physical Plant Office:

* Answers phones

* Make copies

* Work Orders

* Issues vehicles

Equipment Used:

* Mower

* Broom

* Hand truck

* Weedier

* Copier

* Telephone

* Vacuum

* Rakes

* Computer
