General Position Summary: The LANG Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining LANG equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. You will work closely with other teams to achieve production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. At Eurostampa we believe in investing in our employees. The ideal candidate for this position is very motivated, proactive, and has a very strong work ethic.Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Operate LANG machinery, ensuring proper setup and calibration for production runs.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime. Including cleaning of bandsaw, lang, and counter press.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance performed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with team member and other departments to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.
Specific Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous experience operating machinery e.g. CNC (Computerized Numerical Control), bandsaw, or similar
  • Previous experience using design software preferred e.g. CAD, Illustrator, or Adobe Photoshop
  • Must be IT competent, particularly with Excel
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Printing knowledge of a press would be an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Involves measuring with accuracy using the metric system, building files and basic math.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100lbs
  • Working in a loud environment where hearing and eye protection is required at all times
  • Working with chemicals
