Responsible for assembly/packing of sheet metal components of small or medium sized parts, fitting and/or adjustment of inter-related parts and/or assembly based on written specifications. Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements. Following specific written instructions and/or blueprints, assembles components into finished product. Disassembles and re-builds products per specifications. Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions. Pack and labels product following packaging instructions. Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe. Work in packaging as needed, including packing large assemblies or parts. Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to packing. Make boxes, apply labels, verify counts, and follow packing instructions. Follow directions on packing from Packaging Lead. Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2-4 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the Associate is regularly required to sit; walk, stand for extensive periods of time, maneuver through the office and factory; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; grasp and twist; talk or hear; and lift and/or or move equipment/product weighing up to 50 pounds. Utilize lift assist or work with another associate to lift anything greater than 50Ilbs.
