Adecco is partnering with a local client in Mayville, Wisconsin to find a reliable Laser Operator for 3rd shift. This position requires a minimum of 1 year forklift experience and ability to pass a forklift assessment. Pay: $18.82+ (BOE) Shift: Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada and Mitsubishi NC/NCL lasers and Messer plasma systems.
- Check material thickness, load materials, and de-nest parts while removing laser oxide.
- Meet time standards and quality expectations for assigned tasks; troubleshoot minor program errors.
- Train others on laser/plasma setup and operation; cross-train across multiple platforms.
- Safely operate a forklift for material handling and complete online data collection for work tracking.
- Maintain performance logs, report production and quality control issues, and participate in preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a highly technical environment with a strong background in laser or CNC operations.
- Familiarity with overhead crane use and ability to operate a forklift.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability in blueprint reading.
- Competent in basic dimensional measuring, shop math, and understanding G and M codes.
- Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with the ability to work efficiently in a team.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience and ability to pass a forklift assessment.
