Job Summary We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our team The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to cut and trim metal Responsibilities 1 Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines according to job specifications 2 Operate laser machines to cut and trim metal 3 Monitor the cutting process and adjust machine settings as needed for quality control 4 Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards 5 Perform routine maintenance on laser machines to keep them in good working condition 6 Troubleshoot issues with the equipment and perform minor repairs when necessary 7 Follow safety procedures and guidelines while operating the laser machines Qualifications 1 High school diploma or equivalent 2 Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role 3 Familiarity with laser cutting machines and their operation 4 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications 5 Strong attention to detail and quality 6 Good troubleshooting skills 7 Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials 8 Certification in laser equipment operation is a plus
