Job Description:

In this position, you will operate outside of the office on job sites throughout the country, returning to the office between projects. When in the office, your responsibilities will include laser scan registration of both your scans and those taken by other team members. When there are no scan projects, you will support our office where needed. Frequent travel for multiple days at a time is required, and flexibility in that regard should be expected. To be considered for this role, you should have a strong work ethic, an interest in new technology, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, proficiency in laser scan registration processes and techniques will be essential for successful project execution. You should be comfortable staying on your feet for the majority of the day, managing and optimizing laser scanning equipment to ensure accurate and efficient data collection. Your expertise in laser scan registration will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our projects and ensuring the high-quality delivery of services to our clients.

Experience Requirements:

Laser scanning or survey technician experience is required. (1 year).

Semi-conductor, construction, engineering, architectural, survey experience, 3D design, 3D point clouds, point cloud registration, and/or education a plus, but not required.

Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time and with short notice.

Must have a driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements (including, but not limited to):

Lift up to 50 pounds: Raising objects/equipment from lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.

Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders IAW OSHA guidelines, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.

Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.

Working in and utilizing mechanical aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and raised metal floors.

Wearing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Hardhats, hard toe boots, safety gloves, safety glasses, face masks, clean suits, able to wear fall protection harness and lanyard, fire retardant clothing, and heavy protection equipment.

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.

Crouching: Bending the body downward and by bending legs and spine.

Standing for long periods of time.

Walking at a fast pace.

Working out of normal office hours when needed.

Able to work in inside and outside conditions (including different types of weather such as: hot, cold, rain, snow, icy conditions, windy conditions, etc.).

Able to work in close quarters.
