Role Purpose Statement It is an exciting time to join our team @ LSG Sky Chefs as a LML Systems Operations Manager supporting our facility sites across the USA! Are you ready to hit the road to support, train and drive systems efficiencies with our field transportation teams? You will bring value as an SME implementing, improving, and supporting LML (last mile logistics) systems in the North American region.
Main Accountabilities - Working cross-functionally, lead site projects to implement and upgrade LML systems to ensure defect-free launches and proper usage of systems and equipment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement LML system improvements and advancements
- Train transportation managers, transportation supervisors, and dispatchers on LML system usage and best practices
- Develop and improve LML system KPIs to drive operational efficiency visibility and results in the field
- Function as the Subject Matter Expert for LML systems
Leadership
- Model corporate values and participate as required in groups, initiatives, and advisory bodies
- Proactively support other departments and functions as the Subject Matter Expert
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience required in the lieu of a degree
- Five to seven years of experience in transportation required
- Three to five years of experience in deployment of systems/processes required
- Expert level knowledge/experience utilizing GroundStar required
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all organizational levels
- Team player with ability to work with cross-functional, cross cultural teams, and all levels of management with skills of motivation, organization and leadership
- Proficient computer skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Work remotely
- Must be a Road Warrior! Requires minimum 75% travel
