We provide resources, rewards, and incentives to our valued employees.Health, dental and vision insurance Available401(k) savings planPaid vacation, holiday and sick timeEmployee Assistance ProgramThe Cafe Train Attendant reports to the General Manager and is responsible for operations including serving and assisting customers during their train trip from Brunswick, Maine to Boston and back. Duties include but are not limited to serving and assisting customers during the check-out process, managing cash and/or credit transactions, light food prep including grab and go items as well as stocking coolers while maintaining clean and orderly servery/dining areas.Cafe Train Attendants must have an excellent personality and be comfortable interacting with the public. In addition, the Cafe Train Attendant will be responsible for serving food and beverages, including alcohol while on the train.This is a front of the house position; exceptional customer service skills with a can-do attitude are a must!*Must be able to work independently - with a focus on excellent customer service and problem solving*Responsible for running the point of sale system and assist customers as neededSet up and restock product, displays, coolers and workstations as neededLight food prep and grab and go itemsPrepare or serve hot or cold beverages including alcoholTransfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks or cartsMake sure the customers are being taken care of and the Cafe looks clean and presentable at all timesProvide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers entering and exiting the cafeAssist customers by providing information and resolving their concernsIn addition, the Cafe Train Attendant works with and takes direction from the General ManagerMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious food/customer service experience preferably within a corporate dining settingMust be dependable and have excellent customer service skillsMust be able to pull and lift up to 40 pounds plus stand for the majority of your shiftMust be able to work independently as well as a team playerMust be 21 years of age in order to sell alcohol as this is an unsupervised positionMust have reliable transportationHave schedule flexibilityMust have excellent customer service skills - this is a front of the house positionPay Frequency:Weekly - Direct DepositWho We Are:We're NEXDINE, a fast-growing specialty dining service provider, we're the Fresh Idea People .
