Salary range for this position is $33.02 per hour but may increase depending upon experience.

Primary Role: Ensure the successful production actives of a single shift. Manage the daily production related to KPI's for singular shift. Support a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham's Core Values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Supervise operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper usage of personnel

* Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety-first culture throughout the facility

* Maintain high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process

* Responsible for production, meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery while minimizing overtime

* Maintain a high level of quality by doing regular inspections of products

* Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements to solve the problems.

* Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager

* Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (Safety, EEO, Sexual Harassment, Quality, etc.)

* Participates in the hiring, training and review process of production employees.

* Monitor attendance and take disciplinary steps as required up to the termination

* Facilitate daily shift meetings

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Minimum of Associate degree with experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering related function

* Required - Proficiency with all MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

* Experience with payroll systems is a plus

* Ability to read blueprints

* Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including extended hours or weekends

* Strong verbal and written communication skills- ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

* Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience desired

* Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations

* Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

* Exceptional leadership skills with a sense of urgency and strong aptitude

* Ability to develop, maintain and motivate a strong team

* Ability to solve practical problems and difficult situations

* Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand; walk; bend; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms, prolonged sitting, repetitive computer use, ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly

* Bilingual preferred
