Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Laundry Aide for (facility). The Laundry Aide provides a variety of laundry duties in an orderly, sanitary condition and in collecting and laundering of linens, garments, and washables.

Laundry Aide Essential Functions:

• Sorts all linens and treat stains.
• Loads all laundry into washer and adds specified cleaning agents.
• Takes wet, clean items and dries as directed
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean dried items.
• Maintains inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to manager.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs facility's manager as to any maintenance needs.
• Performs additional laundry services when necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in an institutional setting performing housekeeping services is desired
• Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language
