Brethren Care Village, located in Ashland, Ohio is hiring a Laundry Aide for the Health Care Center! We seek caring team members willing and able to commit to Our Values: Compassion, Attitude of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Nurturing and Giving.
- The Laundry Aide in the Health Care Center supports our mission and values by maintaining clean clothing and linens for our residents.
- Loads and unloads washers and dryers.
- Sorts, folds, stack clean linen.
- Washes, dries, sorts and delivers residents personal laundry.
- Respects and shows kindness to residents.
What is required in this position?
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Knowledge of equipment and procedures for washing linens of various degrees of soil preferred
- Understanding the functions of various soaps, bleaches, softeners, and other chemicals used in washing and rinsing preferred
