Job DescriptionJob Summary:Responsible for operating the laundry Neet Feed Spreader, ironer, folder, and dryer which are utilized in processing clean linens. Performs basic laundry tasks which include shake out, sorting, folding, and inspection of linens which supports department goals and strategic plan.Essential Job Duties:(These statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job. Performs all duties that are required to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Fills linen carts according to established requirements. Assist in maintaining and keeping the Laundry and Laundry equipment Clean. Works to maintain a safe work environment. Contributes to a high performance work environment by attend meetings and training sessions a scheduled. Other duties or special projects as assigned.Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
Utilize stamping machine in patching and transferring hospital logo on linens. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Prepares linen packs for surgery Manufactures new linen items upon request and mends all linen rejected for repair. Skill & Abilities: For employees designated to drive hospital vehicles or personal vehicles of hospital patrons, possession of a current valid driver's license in the state of employee's residence with no evidence of unsafe driving is required.QualificationsJob Specifications:
