Position: Laundry Associate

Schedule: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: Starts at $16.25

We are looking for an energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Laundry Associate! This position's responsible for performing all duties associated with the cleaning of linens throughout the community including StoneRidge, Avalon Health Center, and the Food & Beverage areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Collects, cleans, and redistributes the Community laundry.

* Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations

* Ensures that the laundry room is maintained in a clean, organized and sanitary condition

* Accomplishes all work in the order of priority

* Interacts with residents and coworkers in a friendly and respectful manner

Other Duties:

* Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

* Maintains safe and sanitary work area.

* Attends in-service training and educational sessions, as assigned.

* Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

* Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

* Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.

* Ability to stand, lift, twist, and bend as needed throughout the workday.

* Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.

* Ability to process 50 60 pounds of laundry at a time.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.
