Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following) :

* Operate washing, drying equipment

* Operate iron and towel folder

* Set proper drying and cooling times for linen specifics

* Perform and maintain inventories of linens as required

* Organize and stock linen storage

* Monitor information on all laundry equipment

* Report all issues to supervisor/management

* Perform related duties assigned each day

* Participate in monthly inventories

* Folding, ironing, pressing linen

* Assist with chute duties

* Operate air compressor to blow clean equipment

* Develop and maintain positive working relationship with others

* Support laundry team to reach common goals

* Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements :

* Ability to speak, read, write and understand English

* Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment

* Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to prioritize and organize work load

* Ability to work a varied schedule, to include early morning, afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts

Education :

* High school education or equivalent

Typical Physical / Mental Demands :

* Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending

* Pushing or pulling a fully loaded cart weighing twenty-five (25) to thirty (30) pounds

* Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals

* Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality
