This role involves troubleshooting as needed and coordinating with facilities or vendors when necessary. Key responsibilities include:Distributing daily laundry and equipment.Assisting with the repair and maintenance of all sport-related apparel, gear, and equipment.Performing various tasks in the intercollegiate equipment room, such as conducting periodic equipment inventories, managing inventory control, and handling UPS deliveries according to established protocols.Preparing and issuing competition uniforms and setting up locker rooms for both home and visiting teams during events.Conducting skate maintenance, including sharpening, blade and holder changes, rivet repairs, and helmet repairs, while demonstrating proficiency in using an AWL.Operating sanitation machines for equipment cleaning.Completing other job related duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Equipment Services.This position requires daily problem-solving regarding athletic equipment and adherence to OSHA regulations and NCAA safety standards. The Attendant must be AEMA certified or willing to obtain certification within two years.Additional responsibilities include issuing, collecting, and maintaining computerized records for lockers and locks, as well as providing oversight and guidance to student workers when applicable.Technical CompetenciesName Customer Service/CommunicationDescriptionDemonstrates ability to provide professional communications in all interactions, including face-to-face, phone, or written.
