Overview:
The Equipment Operator, reporting to the Director of Laundry Operations, is responsible for operating and maintaining a minor tunnel, Softrol soil rail system, and Milnor dryer systems. This role is expected to monitor computer systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective production of laundry operations.
$19/hour
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English; Bilingual a plus
- Proven experience in operating industrial laundry equipment preferred.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Essential Functions:

- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Monitor computer systems to track the progress of laundry batches through the tunnel and dryer systems.
- Adjust settings as necessary to achieve optimal results in terms of cleanliness and dryness of laundry.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs or escalate to maintenance team as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
