Job Description:

Location: Remote - U.S., some travel to Atlanta, GA is required Overview: Optimize the laundry manufacturing processes and supply chain operations and navigate regulatory frameworks and help to identify the factory location. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Industry Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in laundry manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and tariff regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the laundry sector.
  • Market research: Understand their specific needs, challenges, and goals in industry. Conduct assessments of their manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and tariff management strategies.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze clients' manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement recommendations to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Supply Chain Management: Assess clients' supply chain processes, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain operations, improve inventory management, and reduce lead times.
  • Tariff Compliance: Assist in understanding and complying with tariff regulations relevant to the laundry industry, including import/export duties, trade agreements, and customs procedures. Provide guidance on tariff classification, valuation, and documentation requirements.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities across their manufacturing and supply chain operations. Develop strategies to negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers, optimize inventory levels, and minimize tariff-related expenses.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operations, such as supply chain disruptions, regulatory non-compliance, or tariff-related uncertainties. Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure business continuity.
  • Project Management: Lead consulting projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project objectives are met.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, business administration or international trade, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 -10 years) in product management in the Laundry Industry with a deep understanding of production processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
