Provides clean and fresh laundered linen for all hospital areas.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:1. If hired prior to 12/25/2022, High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. If hired after 12/25/2022, High school diploma or equivalent is required.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Puts proper amounts of chemicals in proper bins.4. Sorts heavy soil after wash.5. Helps fold clean linen.6. Removes tape from linen every day.7. Keeps pillows clean.8. Maintains records of pounds washed, records of dryer.9. Loads and unloads dryer.10. Keeps work area neat and clean.11. Obeys all safety rules and regulations.12. Cooperates and helps one another.13. Follows all infection control policies and procedures.14. Understands and follows all OSHA regulations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position requires Sitting, Standing, Bending, Lifting, and Moving around facility.2. Ability to lift 50 lbs.3. Ability to push and pull heavy, wet linen and move equipment and supplies throughout the work day.4.
