The Laundry Technician handles the manual work involving the operation of laundry equipment. Working under close supervision, this role assists with marking, ironing, and repairing clothing and linens. Facilities Services. Talent Pool: Allied Health Sorts and distributes clean and soiled linens in order to replenish par levels of linens required for daily operations. Cleans and processes linens in line with the infection control standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Helps to maintain equipment, such as the cleaning cart, in order to ensure the continuity of service with limited disruptions. Communicates in a professional manner with the hospital staff and departments to share relevant information and serve the community's needs.
